Practice Team

Dr Zeenat Mohammad joined the practice as a Junior Partner in 2010 and worked alongside her father who was the Principal GP at the practice until his retirement in 2021. She is now the Lead GP.

Dr Zeenat Mohammad grew up in the local area, went to Cambridge University and then returned to Manchester to provide high quality medical care to her local community. She can speak fluent Bengali.

She is heavily involved in undergraduate medical education for both Manchester Medical School and Imperial College, London. She has received multiple awards for these services.

Her special interests include Cardiology, Respiratory, Mental Health and Dermatology as well as Paediatric Medicine. She is qualified to perform minor surgery and joint injections.

Dr Azim Qadir joined the practice in June 2026, bringing with him a strong connection to the local community. Having grown up in the area, he is delighted to return and provide compassionate, patient-centred care to the community he knows and values.

He graduated in Medicine from Hull York Medical School and has developed broad clinical experience across a range of specialties. He is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care while building strong and trusting relationships with his patients.

Dr Azim Qadir has undertaken additional training in minor surgery and joint injections, allowing him to offer enhanced skills in managing a range of musculoskeletal and minor surgical conditions within primary care. He also has a keen interest in lifestyle medicine, supporting patients with preventative healthcare, healthy lifestyle changes, and long-term condition management.

Dr Peter Butler joined the practice in October 2023. He has experience in family medicine, providing compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all ages. He has an interest in diabetes and medical education.

Saira is here to help patients with medication-related problems, conduct medication reviews and provide medicines-related information all in a bid to promote safe and appropriate use of medications.

Sohail joined the practice back in 2022 after graduating his intense master course. He can speak fluent Urdu.

Sohail is a trained healthcare professional who provides crucial support to doctors and has regular direct contact with patients. Sohail works under the direct supervision of a doctor and carries out many similar tasks, including the examination, diagnosis, management and care of patients. He is supervised by a GP.

Vlad oversees the smooth running of the practice. He is responsible for the general day to day running of the Surgery. This includes: patient services, practice and staff development, financial management, human resources, premises management and information technology.
